Who Qualifies For Your Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house having a combined gross family income that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined home revenue won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent residents from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded here to supply the correct Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected in their South African ID.
NSFAS nsfas application only funds people who are finding out or intend to research in a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to click here wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
